When your neighbors find out that you're serving shish kabobs on hand forged skewers, you won't believe how many friends you have!  One end is tapered and forged into a shepherds crook; a twist is added for decoration.  Season them like a cast iron skillet. After using, wash with water and then rub on a coat of oil and they are ready for the next BBQ.  For hanging, if you have a wooden post or beam outside by the BBQ, drill a hole and drive one skewer in horizontally, then hang the rest of the skewers on the horizontal one.
