Basic fireplace grate
After wasting a few hundred bucks on inferior "hardware store" grates that lasted one or two years before melting down, I did an online search for the *real deal* and found Ponderosa Forge's website and ordered their basic fireplace grate, which fit into our hearth perfectly. At nearly 50 pounds, this beast has the combination of rural chic, bohemian, old-school craftsmanship, and durability we were looking for when we built our dream home in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. On February 12th, 2026, we did our first burn with it, and I"m enjoying the fire as I write. Our house it warm and cozy now, and I'm confident that this will be the last fireplace grate we'll ever need. Totally awesome product!
